- JANUARY: It's okay to not be amazing at everything you do; asking for help and resigning from what you love creates opportunities otherwise hidden.
- FEBRUARY: We have the choice to ACT or REACT. Just ask the lady who rear-ended me.
- MARCH: Stepping outside your box can be stretching and frightening! But having the Mardi Gras Murder Mystery at the Granny Manor is worth every second of any potential awkwardness.
- APRIL: Your best friend might be the one staring at you, not saying a word. Break the silence. It'll be worth it.
- MAY: Getting your phone turned off is not the end of the world. Actually, it's quite refreshing to not have any sort of contact whatsoever.
- JUNE: Standing up for what you believe not only makes you stronger, but equally as vulnerable.
- JULY: High School Musical 3 and frozen raspberries will cure any heartache.
- AUGUST: The swine flu isn't as bad as they all made it seem.
- SEPTEMBER: I love that dirty water....BOSTON IS MY HOME (dun dun dun dun!!!)
- OCTOBER: There is nothing wrong with working a 38 hour work week and wanting to spend the weekend watching Glee re-runs all night long.
- NOVEMBER: Being rejected by your dream job hurts more than a thousand knives in your back. But learning to pick yourself up and moving forward? Now that is a true victory.
- DECEMBER: There is a clear time to laugh, to love, to cry, to take risks, to hurt, to reevaluate. This makes us human. This makes us normal. Embrace it.

What I Have Learned
Welcome NEW YEAR!!! Welcome to my world of wonder, my world where fantasy meets reality, and blends it all up before regurgitating it everywhere. It's the time of year we get excited about life: our very own new beginning. Diet plans that last til mid-February, then pick up again the last week of spring; and sometimes return in October as a last effort before the stress of the Holidays pick up. A time to rekindle lost friendships (I hope to find a few of those myself) and a time to push ourselves to new heights. In all of the ambiance of creating new goals and reaching new dreams, I pause to reflect 12 of the many things I have learned this past year:
